Celebration of Pets Day Rescheduled for September 28

MILWAUKEE – Due to inclement weather, Celebration of Pets Day has been postponed until Sunday, September 28.

Companion’s Rest Pet Cemeteries and the Wisconsin Humane Society announced today that the 4th Annual Celebration of Pets Day will now take place on September 28, 2008 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. Join us for a great day of fun; bring your family, friends and pets. This is the largest outdoor people/pet festival in Wisconsin; last year over 3,000 families and pets attended this event. The festival will take place at Companion’s Rest/Arlington Park Cemetery 4001 S. 27th Street, Greenfield, WI.

This event is free and open to the public. All pets must be on a 6′ non-retractable leash. The first 500 families with pets will receive a goody bag (Limit one per family.)
