On the
Road Again!
MILWAUKEE –
The staff of the Wisconsin Humane Society are once
again “on the road again” to assist with Hurricane
Katrina relief efforts. Weeks after Hurricane Katrina
ravaged the area in and around St. Charles Parish,
animals are still in dire need of assistance.
On Friday, October
21, approximately 50 cats will arrive at the Wisconsin
Humane Society. Upon arrival at the Wisconsin Humane
Society, our staff will provide any necessary medical
treatment to all cats, who range from 2-months-old
to 5-years-old.
Wisconsin Humane Society
staff left for St. Charles Parish on Wednesday,
October 19 and drove straight through to pick up
the cats. Without the Wisconsin Humane Society,
these cats would have had no future.
The Wisconsin Humane
Society is seeking financial resources to maintain
the cats' care. To make a monetary donation, visit
www.wihumane.org or mail/drop
off contributions at the Wisconsin Humane Society,
4500 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53208. Please
indicate the donation is for the cat evacuees of
Hurricane Katrina.
