Celebrate Your Black Cat!

WHS Offering Free Spay/Neuter Surgeries this Halloween

MILWAUKEE – She has the power to stop you in your tracks. Her sleek physique often turns heads. This graceful creature has been called elusive, mysterious, even sexy. We’d like to honor the beautiful black cat this Halloween, so the Wisconsin Humane Society invites cat guardians to have their black cat spayed or neutered.  The surgeries will be scheduled Wednesday, October 31 through Friday, November 9 and are FREE to guardians with qualifying incomes.

Spaying or neutering companion animals reduces animal overpopulation and thus, prevents animal suffering. Spaying or neutering your cat also produces beneficial side effects for your pal, such as lowering the risk for developing certain cancers.

To register your black cat for Halloween Spay or Neuter surgery, please call (414) 431-6132.  Excellent information on the benefits of spaying or neutering your companion animal can also be found on the WHS website at www.wihumane.org.
