MILWAUKEE – Avian Odyssey will be taking flight across Wisconsin throughout May 2007 with an opportunity for everyone to become “birders,” have fun and raise money to support the lifesaving work done at the Wisconsin Humane Society’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. The Wisconsin Humane Society’s 1st Annual Avian Odyssey invites novice and expert birders to choose one day in May and count the number of bird species they see in a 24-hour period. Participants have the chance to win fabulous prizes, including a stay in Costa Rica.
