MEDIA ADVISORY

A Cornucopia of Small Animals

MILWAUKEE ? Bun Bun, Bambi and Wiggles are truly thankful for the Wisconsin Humane Society because these petite critters have a warm, safe place to reside while they eagerly wait for a new home. However, these three small animals along with others at WHS have one wish: they want to spend the Thanksgiving Day holiday with their new family.

Thanksgiving is all about giving thanks for what you have and helping those less fortunate. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, WHS is helping its small animals through A Cornucopia of Small Animals, where anyone who adopts a small animal from now through November 12 from WHS will have their adoption fee waived on the second animal if the two animals are housed together at WHS. Many small animals do best if they have a buddy, so adopting a second small animal will double their happiness and yours, too!

Another benefit of adopting a small animal during A Cornucopia of Small Animals is that adopters will receive a free-standing cage along with the complete cage setup for only $10 (while supplies last). This package includes the cage, water bottle or dish, food fish and a wheel (for mice, hamsters and gerbils).
