40 Dogs to Arrive from Flooded Indiana Shelters

Milwaukee – Forty canine flood victims will arrive today at the Wisconsin Humane Society from areas in Indiana. Due to heavy storms, Indiana shelters have been flooded and animal rescue workers are transporting animals to safer ground. The Wisconsin Humane Society will be receiving their first arrivals today.

Photo Op Advisory: Animals will be available for filming as they are brought off the truck at 4:30p.m. A WHS spokesperson will be available for questions. To schedule an interview or photos, call Angela Speed at 431-6104.
