Wisconsin Humane Society Celebrates 125 Years
by Adopting 125 Animals in Three Days
MILWAUKEE
– Are you looking for lifelong companionship?
Is your family looking for some fun? The Wisconsin
Humane Society can help. Whether you are ready for
a redhead or want to bond with a brunette, we have
a match for you. Whether you want to walk with a
whippersnapper or sack out with a senior, you will
find your lifetime companion and a great friend
at the Wisconsin Humane Society's Adopt-a-thon November
11-13.
The Wisconsin
Humane Society's Adopt-a-Thon will include fun-filled
events for the entire family.
- Enjoy extraordinary
demonstrations including an Extreme Doggie Makeover,
to be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday at noon.
- Learn how easy it
is to teach young and old dogs new tricks in a
Bow Wow Basics demonstration on Saturday and Sunday
at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
- Take a tour of the
shelter.
- Adopt an animal
and receive a special prize for you and your new
companion.
Help the Wisconsin
Humane Society, in partnership with the Ozaukee
Humane Society, celebrate 125 years by saving 125
lives November 11-13, 2005! The Wisconsin and Ozaukee
Humane Societies are hosting the Adopt-a-thon as
part of November Adopt a Senior Animal Month.
The goal is to “save 125 lives” in just three days
by adopting out 125 animals during the Adopt-a-thon.

OHS: Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday:
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
