Eagle Scout Raises $9,500 in Donations for
Wisconsin Humane Society

MILWAUKEE – Ryan Creekmur and fellow Boy Scouts from Troop 506 spent a recent Saturday delivering flyers and bags for donations to over 2,000 homes in the greater Greendale area. The next week the Scouts returned to collect the gifts from the community.

Amazingly, Ryan collected $9,500 worth of specifically requested items from the Wisconsin Humane Society’s Wish List, which includes provisions for companion animals, wildlife, and office supplies. WHS currently has a great need for canned cat food, cat litter and dog toys.

The donations collected by Ryan and the Eagle Scouts will help the shelter animals at the shelter. Ryan will be delivering the collected supplies to the Wisconsin Humane Society on Tuesday, October 20 at 4:00 p.m.
