Wisconsin Humane Society to Host Rabbit Training Seminar
Learn About a Rabbit's Proper Diet, How to Hold the Small Animal

MILWAUKEE ? The Wisconsin Humane Society, an animal welfare organization whose mission is to build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness, will be hosting a Rabbit Seminar on Feb. 26, 2005 from noon until 5 p.m. In an effort to celebrate Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month, the seminar will be free and open to the public.

The interactive seminar will feature one-on-learn learning opportunities; rabbit experts will be on hand to teach interested individuals how to correctly harness a rabbit as well the proper way to hold the small animal. Information about rabbit care and the proper diet for rabbits will also be available. In addition to the learning options, a panel of rabbit experts will address any rabbit-related questions at 2 p.m.

During the seminar, the Wisconsin Humane Society is offering a special deal: for individuals who adopt a rabbit through the shelter and purchase a Bunny Basics Package at Animal Antics, located in the Wisconsin Humane Society, the rabbit adoption fee will be waived.
