Teaching your dog to do tricks will not only amaze your friends, it will help stimulate your dog's mind and make life easier for him.

1. With your dog standing in front of you, place a treat in one hand.
2. Place your hand in front of the dogs nose and while he is nibbling/licking, slowly move your hand from your dog's nose, up along his muzzle, ending up between his ears. This will bring his rear-end down.
3. As soon as he sits, praise generously and feed him a treat.
4. Then immediately and brightly say "Okay," as a cue for him to get up.
