Humane Backyard Checklist

A handy checklist to make your home and yard are safe for wild animals.

• Window wells covered (to keep chipmunks and other small critters from becoming trapped)
• Chimney capped (to keep birds and raccoons from making it their home)
• Wildlife barrier to prevent animals from getting under the deck or porch
• Feeders and bird baths kept clean and filled with fresh food and water
• Garbage can lids secured by bungee cords or kept inside garage
• Cracks and holes in foundation of house repaired
