Public Relations Specialist

A motivated and goal-oriented individual is needed to coordinate all marketing efforts at the Wisconsin Humane Society. Primary functions include overseeing media relations and special events, fund development and coordinating effective public relations and advertising strategies. We seek an individual who is deeply committed to the highest quality of service and possesses the ability to interface on a daily basis with media, donors and staff.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in mass communications, public relations, journalism or similar discipline. A minimum of three to five years experience in media contact is required as well as exceptional persuasive writing skills.
