Adoption Counselor

The Wisconsin Humane Society has an opportunity for a part time individual who is reliable, professional and self-starting to join our Counseling Services team. Assist our diverse clientele both in person and over the phone in various ways including conducting animal adoptions, making adoption follow-ups, counseling clients surrendering animals, providing education to the public and much more! This is a fast-paced environment with a competitive salary. Adoption Counselors must be detail-oriented, well-organized and customer-service oriented. Relationship building skills are essential! Candidates must be committed to treating animals with respect and kindness. Related college degree or equivalent customer service experience is required. Candidates also must be able to work both evenings and weekends.
