We were so impressed to hear the 1st Graders at St. Roman School held a fundraiser in our honor. These young students called their even "Pennie for Puppies." They held a Penny War, Scrunchie & Bake Sale, and a Drew Down Day. They collected over $700! Thank you all so much!

Washington Elementary's Brownie Troop #1791 collected items from our wishlist. They collected office supplies, pet food, toys and aquariums! Thank you so much for all your hard work!
Big thanks go out to Girl Scout Troop #3493. This fantastic group made homemade dog biscuits, which they sold to purchase materials to make homemade dog beds! They also collected items from our wishlist with the remaining proceeds. Thanks girls, the dogs absolutely loved their new beds!
A huge round-of-a-pawsfor the“The Lunch Bunch” from Hawley Environmental School who participated in our Classrooms Go Wild program. It is a sponsorship program for the animals at the wildlife center. These girls did a bake sale and penny war at their school and educated their classmates about Big Brown Bats (the species that they chose to sponsor). They raised $925.50 in funds for Wildlife (which will cover formula costs for baby mammals for the entire summer!), but not only that, they visited classrooms in their school to raise awareness about Big Brown Bats and increase understanding in their peers to help to instill respect for an often misunderstood animal. Thank you so much!

We were very honored to hear that Wilson Elementary's Girl Scout Troop #3101 held a bake sale to help raise money for the animals. The girls collected more than $300! They also collected items from our wishlist. Thank you for thinking of us!

For his 11th birthday, Thomas collected donations for WHS. The donations totaled $340! He also collected wonderful treats and toys. Capone was so excited about the new treats, he wanted to personally thank Thomas!

Big thanks to St. Leonard's Brownie Troop #4511. They held a pajama dress up day and donated the proceeds to WHS. They collected over $200 and fantastic wishlist items! The animals all say thank you!

We were recently visited by Wisconsin's American Sweethearts! The Queens donated half of the proceeds from their 2012 pageant drawings to WHS. They also collected wishlist items, such as toys and treats. On behalf of all the animals, thank you so much!

Special thanks to Bella, who asked for donations for WHS instead of birthday presents. Derby, the puppy, personally thanked Bella with lots of puppy kisses! Happy birthday Bella!
Hats off to Mr. Friedl’s 4th grade class at Carollton Elementary in Oak Creek! They collected Wish List items and monetary donations to help animals. They recently visited and dropped off loads of dog food, cat litter, treats and toys galore! Their donations will go a long way to help animals in need. Great job and thank you, kids!
For his Eagle Scout service project, Elias, from Troop 530, collected wish list items from his neighbors and came up with more than 3,500 items totaling $5,396! With the help of his friends, they unloaded three vehicles and a trailer packed full with 808lbs of dog food, 844 cans of cat food, 363 dog toys, 92 jars of peanut butter, 489lbs of cat litter... and that was just the tip of the iceberg! Thank you for your generosity, Elias!

A big round-of-a-paws to Elle, who celebrated her 6th birthday at the Wisconsin Humane Society and asked her guests to bring donations for the animals instead of gifts. Way to go, Elle!
We would like to give a huge thank you to James who recently completed his Eagle Scout service project by making 156 fleece cat beds. James spent nearly 140 hours putting together the beds and we’re sure the cats will agree that it was time well spent! On behalf of all of the animals at WHS, thank you James for your kindness.

Annie, Mimi and Ellie recently stopped in to drop off donations that they collected for their birthdays. The girls collected over $700 in donations, plus toys, treats and food! Wow! Thank you so much!
