Kids Programs
The
Wisconsin Humane Society's educational programming
engages children in ways that are interactive and
fun. Building a more humane community begins with
our youngest citizens. Our programs help children
grow into animal ambassadors who impact their peers
in school and in their neighborhoods, creating real
change. Using hands-on activities with help from
animals at the shelter, children learn the importance
of treating animals with care and compassion. We
help children develop a lifelong interest in animals,
a concern for their welfare and a clear sense of
how they can make a difference.
Children also celebrate
their birthdays with the animals at WHS! If you
would like information, call the WHS Education Department
at (414) 431-6159.
