2 da cutie @ WHS
U were holdin hands w/ some dood. I thought u wouldn’t notice me so I laid down all handsome-like on my cheetah rug. Dat got ur attention! (cuz I’z a hunk)
U were wearing black shoes w/ sequins on ‘em. I remember cuz they sparkled up my whole room. U were so pretty! I want 2 bat @ ur long blonde hair & feel ur gentle scratchinz under my chin.
Whered u go, lady? We’d B cute couple! Call me.
I thought you loved me!
Crouching at my window, you cooed and trailed your fingers across the glass. I played along, pawing at you and tilting my head to the side. “Well aren’t you adorable?!” you said with a grin. I flicked my tail into the air & jumped on my climbing post for a better view. That’s when I noticed… you were staring at my brother, curled up in a ball next to me. I pulled out all the stops, jumping to the highest perch then back down again, but your eyes remained locked on his sleepy face the whole time.
I just need to know… Why him? He’s all white! You know how quickly he’ll get dirty?! And to top it off, he’s lazy! All he does is lay there all day. When he IS awake, he’s not even that bright (don’t tell him I told you, but he’s a tail-chaser)...

To the tiny lady in pig tails…
I saw you walk in the front door, clumsy but determined. Your eyes lit up as you ran straight to my window. I’ll never forget those incredible three words you squealed next… “Daddy, look! Kitty!” The large man you were with pulled you away to go look at puppies. I gave my sweetest meow and rubbed my cheek on the glass, but it was too late. You were already walking toward a 10-week-old Shepherd.
You were wearing a Blues Clues t-shirt with matching Velcro tennis shoes. Please come back to me! I’ll know it’s really you if you can remember the color of my Play N’ Squeak mouse toy…
Three’s company
We hit it off right away. You asked if you could unlock my suite and play with me. Your ear scratches…wow… I’ve never purred so loud in my life. Then I heard the three words I’d been longing for, “I want her!” You reached for me, but I backed away. I wanted to go home with you, but I couldn’t leave my sister. I curled up at her side and waited for you to understand. “They are a required pair,” said the adoption counselor. You let all of the air out of your lungs and frowned, “they’re both great, but I just don’t think I’m ready for two…” Please come back for us! Two cats are better than one, I promise! We’ll keep each other company when you work late... We’ll chase each other when we need exercise... We’ll even take turns getting our bellies rubbed! Please… judge us not by our quantity, but by the content of our character.
