Meet Boots

Boots is a 10-month-old Lhasa Apso mix who is completely blind and deaf. This sweet little boy won the hearts of everyone he met, leaping into their laps and wagging his fluffy tail. We figured Boots would need some help finding the right home, but we knew his perfect guardian was out there and we weren't going to quit until they found each other.

Well, after just eight days in adoption at our Milwaukee Campus, we were ecstatic when Boots found his match! Sandy and Jim, his new parents, knew from the moment they saw him that their family was about to get a little bigger. Boots now spends his days running around the backyard, getting homemade treats, and snoozing in bed with Sandy's daughter, Crystal. There's nothing we love more than seeing our alumni happy and loved by their new families!

	P-Nut 2.5-year-old Pug/Terrier mix P-Nut is as cute as they come. This little guy loves to play and is looking for a partner for daily games of fetch. P-Nut would prefer a home with older children, who understand that he prefers to be left alone when he eats. P-Nut is eager to please and works hard for a tasty treat. 	Conway 4-year-old Labrador Retriever Meet Conway. This handsome boy loves fetch and treats. In fact, he is very motivated and will excel at learning new skills. He is currently in a foster home to help him feel comfortable seeing other dogs while on walks. When Fred came to the shelter he was diagnosed with a congential condition causing his right eye not to form correctly, resulting in blindness. 	Sookie - Adopted! 6-year-old Shih Tzu mix Sookie came to the Wisconsin Humane Society with a badly infected eye which required surgery. Now that her discomfort has been alleviated, she has begun the search for a new family. Sookie’s eager-to-please, playful personality makes her an absolute delight.
