I'm Madelina. I'm an older lady with purrfect manners. I am quite capable of jumping onto a soft, warm bed that has been vacated by my people, but I would never, ever think of jumping on tabletops, or counters. Because I am retired, don't expect me to get too excited about a typical toy, I'd rather just watch the other kitties in the my foster brothers. We get along fine because we respect each other. They let me sleep in their beds and I let them sleep in mine.

I'm looking for a forever home, hopefully one that is quiet with folks who are gentle with me. Oh, and I need to take a half pill a day which I'm very willing to do...especially if it is wrapped in liver pate (but anything will do). I show my appreciation by crawling up in your lap and letting you stroke my silky, black fur. I am a very independent, loving companion.
