One bright spring day, a crew from WHS picked up Winkie from the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC). MADACC receives Milwaukee's stray animals and some of these animals come to WHS to be placed for adoption. WHS also receives animals that are surrendered from the public and places animals from throughout the Midwest through the Rescue Waggin' Program.
